Final Impact Reports will be judged and National Grand Prizes will be awarded at the 2017 Enactus Mexico National Competition.

Eligibility

All Enactus Mexico teams with projects that have outcomes completed between May 1, 2016 – April 28, 2017 meeting the Entrepreneurial Training program goals, criteria and reporting requirements are eligible to apply. Up to seven (7) teams in Mexico will receive a $500 USD grant to complete their projects. Projects must assist women in Mexico.

If you participated in the Women’s Economic Empowerment Project during 2015–2016, please connect with the woman and/or women you empowered last year. If they need further assistance, this may be your 2016–2017 Women’s Economic Empowerment project if it meets this year’s criteria. If your team is unable to provide additional assistance, please help them find a local resource. You will be required to provide follow-up information on your 2016–2017 Final Impact Report.

Requirements

Participating Enactus teams must:

  • Submit a complete Application before your country deadline
  • Complete an online Human-Centered Design assignment before your country deadline
  • Make Check Points with Enactus staff when requested
  • Submit a complete Final Impact Report before your country deadline
  • Agree to all Women’s Economic Empowerment Terms and Conditions (found on the sample Application)

Participating teams are required to make Check Points with designated Enactus staff via campus visits, conference calls, etc. to update Enactus staff on their Women’s Economic Empowerment project. Check Points should be made with the team Project Lead, but may also include the team Advisor(s), Alternate Project Lead and other active students related to the project. Check Points may address, but are not limited to:

  • Project details and necessary changes
  • Successes and challenges
  • Meeting the Enactus Judging Criterion
  • Measurement tracking and Final Impact Report preparation
  • Grant fund usage
  • Project media
  • Project partners
  • Questions and concerns from Enactus team

2nd Place: $1,750 USD
3rd Place: $1,000 USD
